A Baby Changes Everything

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for my last post. We still have not heard anything from or about that birth mother and continue to pray for her as she makes her decision.

In the meantime...

We received another call on Thursday afternoon about another birth mother. It was from an agency we originally weren't planning to use. It's amazing to us how many details have already been taken care of in this situation and how we can see God's hand working. The baby is due on January 9th and if all goes according to how we would like it to, this baby will become a part of our family very soon!!!

As you can imagine, my mind is racing at full speed. I lay in bed thinking of all the things that need to be done. It's amazing though how quickly things can get done when you set your mind to it! On Saturday, Kevin repainted the changing table and I pulled out and washed baby clothes. The kids have been helping too.

Please pray with us. Pray for Jessica (birth mom) especially...for her decision, delivery and the health of the baby. There are still so many details to work out. Pray for our minds to be put at ease, worries to be calmed and that the process would continue to go smoothly. We should be hearing from our attorney again this week after he meets with Jessica. We'll keep you updated.

Oh, and... "IT'S A GIRL!!!"

HELP!!! We need some name ideas that flow nicely with our two kiddos...if anyone has any, please post them in the comments. :)

Oh Sherri, I'm praying!!! I can't wait to hear the news that she is born. I will pray for your peace of mind while you prepare...and that God will put this all together as part of his perfect plan for your family. A GIRL! I'm still so gitty for you!!!! :) I can't wait to hear what name you pick for her. I can't wait to hold her, and smell her. :) How very very very exciting!!!!

Chills...I'm so excited and happy for you all. I bet Kaiya is beyond thrilled. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Names: Are you wanting to stick with the "K" sound? I'll keep my favorite names under wraps, because we're not done having kids, but I'm sure I can think of some to suggest :)

I could go either way...but am not stuck with only the K sound.

Kayleen and Katie would go with your k's.

Names -- I need help in that area too (when that time comes).....Kennedy, Kamryn, Courtney, or Khloe.........I'll try to think (it's such an overwhelming task)

What exciting news! I will be praying.
Names - Keely (or Keeley) is Gaelic, and means "beautiful and graceful" and might go well with Kaiya's K and Caedmon being a Celtic name. There's also Keira.

How exciting! I pray the details in each situation come together just as they should. I'm sure God will make sure that happens. I do like the name Khloe/Chloe. There are just so many names to choose from that it would be a hard decision. A fun one, though:)

Ever since Kevin called about this baby, I've been going around with a goofy grin on my face, telling everyone the good news. Reading your post makes me even more excited!

I like Amy's name suggestions. I have no doubt you will come up with something perfect.
