One sweet little four-year-old enjoying a warm Fall day.
These pictures were taken in record time...quick and to the point. Planned picture taking is hard to come by around here right now, but we had fun. 
My little girl is growing up right before my eyes. She wants to be big...she talks like a teenager sometimes, loves to put on make-up and will try anything. I will try to soak up her four-year-old moments, for they are quickly passing us by. 
But when I see this little baby face it reminds me that yes... she's still my little girl...for such a time as this.
Our little social butterfly...wherever we go, she usually knows every one's name by the time we leave.
So happy, so funny, so absolutely undeniably full of life and love!

Lord, I come to you in Jesus' name and give Kaiya to You. I'm convinced that You alone know what is best for her. You alone know what she needs.
Thank You , Lord, for the precious gift of this child. Because Your Word says that every good gift comes from You, I know that You have given her to me to care for and raise. Help me to do that. Help me to live in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. I rely on You for everything, and this day I trust my child to You and release her into Your hands.

Sweet sisters forever!
And we finally caught that sweet smile on camera.
Their band made it to semi-state competition this year. Way to go EHS!
All bundled up and warm.
This was picture day after the first week of practice. Can you believe someones mom would forget about picture day? What kind of a mom would forget about picture day?!!! Well I do have an excuse...it was taken the week of Luca's birth and things were a little crazy around here. :) 
Baby's tummy is getting bigger too. =)
Kaiya has shown more of an interest in her babies lately. She hasn't been much of a doll person up to this point. Lately she's been changing her baby's diapers. I found three of Luca's dry diapers in the trash the other day. She brought her baby's swing and sat it right next to Luca's. She imitates a lot of what I do with Luca...I love it!
I was so privileged to accompany Caedmon on his kindergarten pumpkin farm field trip. What a treat to watch him interact with his other classmates and have one on one time with him. It was sweet to see his excitement to have me there. He reached out for my hand a couple times...he doesn't normally do that...I loved it.
Time to pick out a pumpkin to take home.
OK, not gonna happen this time. 
Makin' caramel apples. Yum.
Caedmon quickly became interested when he saw what the finished product would be.
Soccer games continue with only one more to go. Caedmon has shown so much improvement this year with his skills and attitude. So proud of him. 
Saturday morning games start at nine and it's been bitterly cold for October. I dressed Kaiya in her snow pants, hat & mittens for this game. Caedmon stayed pretty warm from all the running...the long underwear helped too. =)
Goin' for the goal! 
Our little brother, Immanuel, spent the night and joined us for the game.
